Righteous The Unsung Heroes Of The Holoc
by
Martin Gilbert
vilniusjewishlibrary
, September 02, 2011
There certainly were those few who were Righteous during the war. How sad that there were not more. Sir Martin Gilbert truly brings to life a variety of stories of those who rescued Jews during the war. The rescuers risked their lives and those of their families. The author writes in a clear and concise style that manages to paint a vivid portrait of both rescuer and those rescued. This is highly recommended for anyone who wants to read a truly uplifting book of those whose moral courage left them with only the choice of doing the right thing.

Neil Gaiman manages to bring the dead alive in a way that no other writer has ever managed. Every book he writes is a treat which I look forward to eagerly!
