Betrayal of Trust
by
Susan Hill
AP
, August 04, 2012
Susan Hill continues to write engaging novels in the Serailler series, although none have lived up to the wonderful novel that began the series. The focus continues to be on the Serailler family, specifically Simon, while the mystery really comes in second. I expect Hill to pick up with many of the storylines presented here in her next book.

Barnyard Dance

Set aside all of those awful memories of forced square dancing in elementary school P.E. class. You and your toddler will enjoy every moo, baa and cockadoodledoo. It's a great vocabulary builder, too.

Killing Frost
by
R D Wingfield
AP
, June 07, 2009
Since R.D. Wingfield died shortly before this novel was published, it seems only appropriate that the last novel is titled "Killing Frost." In it, Frost returns to print in fine form but a bit maudlin at the prospect of leaving the Denton police force. Several nasty cases keep him up all night trying to tie up the loose ends, all while trying to figure out how to outsmart the new and old bosses.
