An eye-opening read for daughters who were brought up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional families. Explains your place in the family and why these adults takes on themselves the failures of other members of the family. I highly recommend this book for any woman raised in an alcoholic or other substance-related home.

This book has been in my personal library since 1995. I have read it thoroughly several times and have referenced it on numerous occasions. Healing the Inner Child is a wonderful tool for both self-help and in therapy with Adult Children. For all children of dysfunctional families, this book speaks directly to you.
