Basic Concepts in Kabbalah
by
Rav Michael Laitman
p.latona
, July 12, 2009
Although on the surface the title might imply that this is a book only for beginners, I would disagree. It is certainly very appropriate for beginners as it serves to introduce us to the basic concepts in Kabbalah as stated. However, by reading this book over and over it will do more than just that. This book is all about contemplating spiritual terms and thereby expanding our inner vision…our consciousness. There is a spiritual structure that is ever present around us and it is up to our efforts to learn how to see, feel and experience these hidden worlds. Kabbalah is all about attracting the Light that corrects and this book attracts much Light.

Kabbalah Revealed: The Ordinary Person's Guide to a More Peaceful Life
by
Rav Michael Laitman
p.latona
, June 22, 2009
If you have ever struggled with questions such as “What am I here for?” “What is the meaning of all this?”” Is there a God?”…you get the drift. I believe you will find this book thought provoking, challenging and perhaps even life altering. If you have any preconceived opinions about what Kabbalah is or is not, don’t be surprised if most of what you thought turns out not to be true. This is the third book that I have read by Dr. Laitman and as the ones before it is a continuous journey bringing forth both new ideas and concepts and building/reinforcing the foundational concepts already introduced. There are several of his books that I would consider introductory and appropriate for the first time reader. This is one of them.

Kabbalah for Beginners
by
Laitman, Michael
p.latona
, May 25, 2009
As the title implies, this is a perfect place to begin your exploration of authentic Kabbalah. The book quickly points out that anyone can study Kabbalah. It does not matter what your age, gender or religion might be. The study of Kabbalah is for anyone who has burning questions such as “What is the meaning of my life?” “What is the purpose of my existence?” If you have such questions, you are in the right place. Although this book is a very quick read, it does present the essential ingredients of this path and provide you with a blue print for moving forward. It is a terrific introduction!

Kabbalah for the Student
by
Rav Yehuda Ashlag and Rav Baruch Ashalg
p.latona
, May 11, 2009
If you are a student of Dr. Michael Laitman, then you must get this book. Not only is Kabbalah for the Students one of the most used references for Dr. Laitman’s free Internet classes, but also serves as a reservoir for finding our most treasured articles in one convenient location. Any student of Kabbalah will find this a valuable addition to their home library. Kabbalah for the Student is the teachings of authentic Kabbalah passed down through thousands of years. If you are new to Kabbalah, I would first recommend other books by Dr. Laitman such as “Idiots Guide to Kabbalah”,; “Attaining the Worlds Beyond”; Kabbalah for Beginners”.

Creator & the Creation
by
Rob Taylor

, April 21, 2009
This book is a wonderful collection of inspirations from authentic Kabbalists. All students of Kabbalah will find this resource an invaluable tool, whether used first thing in the morning, last thing at night and throughout the day. These short quotations from beloved teachers of the past and present serve as reminders to keep our eye on the importance of the goal. I carry mine with me throughout the day and no matter what activity I might be engaged, I can take a one minute break for inspiration.

Shamati I Heard
by
Yehudah Ashlag
p.latona
, March 24, 2009
In the appendix of one of Dr. Laitman’s books, the book of Shamati is not listed as beginner, intermediate or advanced reading. It is the one selection listed under textbook, and although I can see why, it is similar to referring to the Bible as a textbook. Instructional yes, but like the Bible, Shamati is a “Holy” book. Shamati is meant for the serious Kabbalah student and by that I mean the students of Bnei Baruch. There is a special reverence to this book, even when you do not understand all that you are reading. We are taught that the purpose of our study is not knowledge, but to attract the Light that corrects. Just having this book in your presence, you can almost sense the Light beaming down. I cannot imagine a student who would not want Shamati on their bedside reading table.

Kabbalah, Science and the Meaning of Life: Because Your Life Has Meaning
by
Rav Michael Laitman
p.latona
, March 02, 2009
This is not an introductory book to the study of Kabbalah, but it does serve as an introductory book to Kabbalah’s more technical and scientific aspects. Kabbalah is a science and this science explains the overall structure of the spiritual worlds. This book gives us a strong foundation to begin the exploration of the science and mathematics of our existence. There is nothing mystical or ethereal in these pages. The discussion relates directly to the nature of matter and specifically relates Kabbalah to Quantum Physics. A must read for all serious Kabbalah students and a reference guide to be used again and again.

From Chaos to Harmony: The Solution to the Global Crisis According to the Wisdom of Kabbalah
by
Rav Michael Laitman
p.latona
, February 02, 2009
Nature is out of balance. We know this. We know that our modern industrialized society has exploited Mother Nature causing much damage to our eco system. Our weather patterns are changing and global warming is upon us. What may not be understood is all of the ramifications of this assault on Nature. The current global financial crisis is the latest example. What we do not understand is that our assault on Nature is actually an assault on our selves. We can destroy everything or we can learn from the message given by Dr. Laitman in this book. It is not too late. The ancient science of Kabbalah can explain exactly what is going on and it can also provide the solution we need. This is a very important book!

The Kabbalah Experience
by
Laitman, Rav Michael
p.latona
, January 04, 2009
Kabbalah Experience is a collection of questions and answers from the students of Dr. Michael Laitman, who is today’s foremost teacher of authentic Kabbalah. Essentially, it is a book by the students for the students with Dr. Laitman merely providing the answers. All questions are categorized and easy to find. You can read this book from start to finish or in any order at all. I would suggest that this book should not be someone’s introduction to Kabbalah. It is better suited for those who have read a book or two or attended a free on line course. An invaluable reference book that you will go back to time and time again.

Path of Kabbalah Revealing the Hidden Wisdom
by
Laitman, Rav Michael
p.latona
, December 15, 2008
The Path to Kabbalah, by Dr. Michael Laitman, teaches us the authentic Kabbalist view of the true structure of reality and how and why we have come to perceive it as we do. It teaches us about the human soul, past present and future and explains the interconnectedness of all souls and existence itself. More inspiring than merely informative, this book is for all students of Kabbalah to read over and over again. I would not recommend this as a first read on this subject, but it is a must read once you begin to go down the Path of Kabbalah.

Attaining the Worlds Beyond: A Guide to Spiritual Discovery
by
Michael Laitman
p.latona
, November 09, 2008
This could be one of the pivotal books in the life of anyone who deeply wonders what is the meaning of my life. Dr. Michael Laitman is today's foremost expert on the authentic teachings of Kabbalah. Teachings that are only to do with spiritual worlds and nothing to do with this world and corporeality. Do not be confused by modern interpretations with their red strings, holy water and what not. This is the real deal and I bet you will find it much different than what you expect. Enjoy!
