It speaks for itself: This book was the catalyst for a book series that has sold more than 400 million copies, has been translated into 67 languages, and the last four books have consecutively set records as the fastest-selling books in history. The series as a whole should win the prize as the best of the decade. How many out there in "book are us" land remember knowing the exact date the next in the series would hit the shelves?
