How clever that Pollan joins his journey of building this small dwelling with so many ways to see architecture and the human being. I caught myself laughing until I cried, after soaking in some of his references to historical land and dwelling philosophical viewpoints.

Collage Unleashed

What an inspiring, playful way to refresh your artsy palette, or begin the artistic discovery that lives inside us all. Bautista, places colors and patterns in ways that I would have never dreamed of, and she shows her work on the pages in this book. It is fun to be inspired by a color splash now and then.

Tikki Tikki Tembo

It was a tradition in our household for my older siblings to read to the younger siblings; and for my Mom to read to all of us. This book was one of our favorites to hear from multiple readers because of the rhythmic format and tongue-twisting name. It gets more and more interesting as the story goes on b/c it becomes increasingly difficult to say that name over and over again. Lots of giggles to be heard by your listeners for sure.
