Alfetta The Alfa Romeo 158 159 Grand Prix Car
by
Ed McDonough
DRETCETERINI
, July 14, 2009
This book is the definitive book covering the history of the Alfa Romeo Alfetta Tipo 158 and 159 grand prix cars. These cars were virtually invincible in Grand Prix (F1) car racing from 1947 through 1951. The Tipo 158 won EVERY race in 1947 and 1948, so didn't even bother racing in 1949! They returned in 1950 and 1951, and won all but about 5 races; Ferrari won a few, and Lago-Talbot won one race. A book that is a must for Alfa fans and fans of Grands Pric car (F1) history Stuart Schaller Portland, Oregon PS: I have owned over 50 Alfa Romeos in my lifetime!

Alfa Romeo Cars: Guide to the Identification of
by
Maurizio Tabucchi
DRETCETERINI
, July 14, 2009
This book covers every model of Alfa Romeo, in chronological order. The detail is not intensive on each model, but gives people a cursory look. The same author did a bigger version of the same book, with FULL details on each model, but it costs over $200, and is out of print. Stuart Schaller Portland, Oregon PS: I have owned over 50 Alfa Romeos in my lifetime!

Alfa Romeo Giulia Berlina 1962-1976: Limited Edition Extra
by
R. M. Clarke
DRETCETERINI
, July 14, 2009
The Alaf Romeo guilia berlina was one of the world's first true sports sedans. First came the TI version, with column shift. Later, the Ti came with floor shift. Both versions had one, 2bbl downdraft carb. Next came the Super, with two 2bbl siddraft carbs. It was capable of 118 mph in 1966. This book covers these cars well, and is a good value for money. Stuart Schaller Portland, Oregon PS: I have had more than 50 Alfas in my lifetime!
