Whether you're experienced caring for exotic herps or invertebrates or are just begining your adventures with these amazing creatures, this is a great reference book. Obviously as a care guide covering such a wide range of popular species it should not be used as your only reference (but it will help you find where to look!), but it is definitely the most up to date, accurate, and educational guide I have found available to the general public.

I read this book back when I was around 13 and still love it. It is one of those works that appeal to all ages for different reasons-- it is insightful and thought provoking as well as entertaining. This is a book that everyone should read at least once in their lives. If they did, the world might be the better for it.
