Berlin Stories
by
Christopher Isherwood

This may be an older collection of two novels (Mr. Norris Changes Trains/Goodbye to Berlin), but the pure descriptions of 1930's Berlin is beyond exceptionable. Isherwood takes you to a world of revolutionaries, growing fascism, poverty, and the underground gay scene through the eyes of Isherwood's real memories of being in Berlin. I can hardly describe the vibrancy of his charactors- From Mr. Norris himself, to the famous Sally Bowels. And, it doesn't hurt that this collection not only inspired the play 'I Am A Camera,' but the classic film 'Cabaret.' How can you beat that?

Nerds rejoice! Finally a book combing two of the greatest themes in the world, Star Wars and zombies! It surprises me that no one came up with this before now. this is an amazing book filled with classic horror and Star Wars themes. and when someone askes whay you're reading you can tell them this: "a book with Storm Troopers, that are zombies!" Buy it. Devour it. And love it!

These books are pure classics. The rise of power, tyrannical governments and the loss of freedom all play a pivotal roll. From a satire of Soviet Russia to a bleak future ruled by totalitarian nations and dictatorships. These books tell a story all of us should listen closely to, and remember.

This book is one of the great turning points in modern literature. The loss of freedom, tyrannical government and a world at its end all play a dark backdrop to an anarchist's revolution for the freedom of oppression. This book warns of a future that could be, if we let it.
