Save Me, Julie Kogon
by
Allen Ruff

You can't help but laugh at some of the characters and situations in Ruff's book, but the next minute the turmoil of family life brings you to shock and tears. The world innocent midwestern Annie is introduced to at her husband's father's funeral on the East coast opens her eyes to a world she thought only existed in books and films. Ruff's story pulls you in and wraps you up into a world so complex that you realize there is probably more truth than fiction .

A wonderful book that provides readers of all ages with a view into the life of a young, talented Native American who is sorting through the meaning and strength of his heritage in contemporary America.
