Five Book Friday: In Memoriam
(0 comment)

Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry A Novel
by

An inspiring book about memory, forgiveness and learning to really listen. Learning that the world we think we live in is not always what it seems. Harold journeys to meet an old friend. He meets many people along the way. Some take advantage of him. Some encourage him. Some, like his wife are left behind to learn their own lessons. I learned that love and family are not always easy but they are well worth fighting for.

Crafty Chloe

This is a very cute story for those children and adults in your life who are crafters! Chloe can make something out of almost anything. But once in a while, even the craftiest of us wish to buy something for someone to make them feel extra special. In this case 2 people get the same idea for the same gift and the "other" girl is not nice about it at all. But in the end, Chloe makes something and even these 2 girls who are competing for that 1 store-bought gift end up joining forces to give the most amazing gift ever. Nice pictures and theme.
