Where We Belong
by
Emily Giffin

Emily Giffin never disappoints. This is a great novel with compelling characters. This tale of secrets and relationships delves into the lives of a woman who secretly gave a baby up for adoption 18 years ago and the daughter who has now returned to her life. The novel seamlessly switches between narrators as it explores Marian at ages 18 and 36 and her 18 year old daughter Kirby. Giffin is a master at bringing characters to life and exploring the decisions they make, both positive and negative. The characters bring life to the story, and it was a novel I didn't want to end. This novel is more than chick-lit; it is a tale relationships told through secrets and discovery.

I Am a Bunny
by
Ole Risom and Richard Scarry

This is the best board book! Seriously, every kid needs a copy. The storey is simple and sweet, taking the bunny Nicholas through the four seasons. The pictures are beautiful Richard Scarry drawings. This classic story is still the best picture book you will ever find.
