If You Were My Bunny

This book is really great! I love the new words to familiar lullaby tunes. After several years, I still sing some of these songs to my 6-1/2 year old son. He especially likes the one that begins, "Dearest duckling close your eyes..." to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." We sometimes sing, "Dearest monster close your eyes..." to help with his fear of monsters in the dark!

Is A Worry Worrying You

This is a great book describing everyday worries (like the first day of school, the monster under the bed) along with uncommon worries like the rhino walking across the street and the eagle trying to build a nest in your hair! It reads as from a child's perspective and has great ideas about how to deal with these worries (e.g., sing a lullabye to yourself and the monster). Wonderful illustrations with a blue worry monster to find on each page...very fun to read with my 5 y.o. son who tends to worry.
