Love Finds You in Pendleton Oregon
by
Melody Carlson

My favorite of Melody Carlson's timely novels. It's homey and honest. Sunny Westcott is presented with a part time modeling job, with a friend from Pendleton Oregon. There she is confronted with her Native American roots. She learns about a famous Cowboy that may or may not be in her lineage. You will experience the dry desert scenery and the excitement of the famous Pendleton Round-up. As Sunny tries her hand at modeling, and love.

Fox Island

I love this series, and have read it several times. Imagine the foggy North West Coastline; Fox Island, Washington. You will feel as if you were there, exploring this dark lush island of shadows and light. As the history of Fox island is told through long time residents of the island, a long a ago secret unfolds. A great summer, or anytime read.

What a classy home, Jane Seymour has! Her instruction on color for her different rooms is really wonderful! She has instant color choices that all go together. It's a feast for the eyes, and mind!

What a great way to get history, Bible history through fiction. This story is easy to read and really lines up with what almost all biblical scholars agree is predicted to come. And in the not too far future. Read them all. You'll find out tons, and be informed of future events. Plus it's great entertainment!

This is a very inspired book. It takes thrift store finds, and turns your home into a warm, even luxurious place to be. Very creative, with many chic, but homey ideas.
