I learned about this book because I saw the paperback on someone's dashboard though their windshield. The cover interested me, and I was hooked. I first was going to listen to the story on audio book. But since the story is narrated by a give year old, I decided that I would rather not. The story was good, and easy to read, even though it is about such a terrible situation.

It may be that I got this book for Christmas or that I just finished reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, or that I finished the book in less than two weeks..but for some reason, I really enjoyed this book and I wouldn't mind reading the next one...tonight. It is a little less racy than some of Gregory's other books. However, there is still much of the scheming and crazy struggle for power as I saw in the Bolean books. Gregory is a great historical fiction author for those of us who aspire to be princesses and queens in our dreams.
