No disappointments with this book. This was a thrill from start to finish. Could not put it done. Great characters, smooth prose. Greg puts the reader right into the action. Like tagging along with the characters for support. He fills the page with grit, no fluff. A truly awesome book. I’ve read a few of his work and will continue to do so, with no apprehension. A solid read by a solid writer.

Gwendys Magic Feather
by
Richard Chizmar, Stephen King

Richard Chizmar writes the smoothest prose. His concise writing is a pleasure to the eyes. He knows how to lure the reader into a world only he can create. He brings the reader back to Castle Rock, to another phase of Gwendy Peterson life, from the previous tale “Gwendys Button Box”, where it all started. Richard’s talent for creating an atmospheric tale will have the reader feeling all of Gwendys fears. All of Richard’s work is highly recommended! So get busy reading or miss out on some great stories.

Wow! Fabulous story. Great heart felt characters. Flowing prose, a pleasure to read. Paranormal horror in today's society, follows two young girls and their female caseworker into the darkest depths of man's inhumanity to man. With their demons nipping at theirs heels, these three robust and strong willed characters show what it means to stay strong. Fast paced and to the point. Highly recommended. This author is a force to be reckoned with! Hannahwhere a place to escape and rebirth. On a personal note on the hardcover copy, I found well constructed work of art.

Double Feature
by
Owen King

My first intro to Owen King. No disappointments. the story of a up and coming movie maker , with his trials and tribulations. Surrounded by family and friends, Sam Dolan paddles his way through feelings from a pompous B movie actor father, a heart breaking memories of his mother, Allie, being ignored and emotional drained by his preoccupied father. Nefarious affairs with a friends wife, and a woman who truly cares for him but is ignored by Sam at times. An eccentric friend who can't get out of his own way, and a godfather, Tom, a builder of sorts who continually adds on to his existing home of perpetuity. The characters well drawn, with their confusing personalities. Owen writes like a seasoned veteran, the prose was amazing. A well drawn out story that will please any reader of intelligent prose. I was amazed at his talent. He comes on the scene with a knockout punch.

Dead Ringers
by
Christopher Golden

Christopher Golden has yet to disappoint. I've read a few of his books and they're nothing less than a thrill ride into our nightmares. Here he gives new meaning to " Mirror, Mirror, on the wall", don't ask who the fairest of them all is, you won't like it's answer. From the beginning , the tempo never stops in overdrive. Put on your seat belts and hold on. Great premise, characters and the setting are perfect. Dead Ringers is another hit. Highly recommended. While you're at it check out Snowblind, 'tis the season. 1 like ·

20th Century Ghosts
by
Joe Hill

A great collection of short stories. Joe Hill does magic with the pen. These stories span from the sublime to the humorous and supernatural. "Best New Horror" puts the reader into the shoes of an agent looking down the barrel of horror. "Pop Art", an unusual story of friendship, bullying, and humor. The characters throughout this collection are amazing. From childhood to old age, Hill pours on the fears, hopes, and dreams of all the characters and readers of his book. Great, great, great.

Swan Song
by
Robert R Mccammon

Robert Mccammon writes with a smooth pen. His artistry for words is magic. Swan Song takes you on a ride through a devastated America. You witness love and hate, man's inhumanity to man. How evil pervades even the most devout. But good has deeper roots. Mccammon characterization has you feeling the emotions of both sides. A fantastic read by a masterful raconteur.
