Winner of the National Book Award this year and really deserves this award. I so loved it being written from the young boys viewpoint and especially all I learned about life on an Indian reservation in this day and age. My only complaint would be that I wanted to know what happened after the end of the story told in this book. Thank you Louise Erdrich for a great book.

Without a doubt this is the best book I have read this year. I love Anne Tyler anyway, but think she has outdone herself with this gentle loving store of a life after a death. As always there are the authors quirky characters and as usual is set in quirky Baltimore. It is a short novella really and a fast read. The story is so gentle it has captured my heart and will stay with me forever. You will have to discover it's joys for yourself.

Incredible book, that I both could not put down and was afraid to turn the page.
