Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life

Animal, Vegetable, Miracle inspired me to change how I relate to food and I have tailored my diet in a way that is much healthier for me and the planet. Not only was it informative and interesting, but also included entertaining stories of the trials of growing your own food as wells as the many rewards.

Shades of Grey
by
Jasper Fforde

"Shades of Grey" is, like Fforde's other work, easy to read and imaginative. I loved the way he addressed technology, social structure and law, especially the focus on details like spoons. Before this novel I did not think dystopian and humor went together, but Fforde managed to take a serious concept and make it a funny and enjoyable.
