Every year, the booksellers at Powell’s submit their Top Fives: their five favorite books that were released in 2023. It’s a list that, when put together, shows just how varied and interesting the book tastes of Powell’s booksellers are. This was my first Stephen King novel and I loved it. As you start the book you feel like you are a journey with the lead character, you don't know where the story is going and neither does he. But then at some point it changes to him knowing everything you still don't know where it is going. That is what i loved most about this book I couldn't predict what was coming next. Also the book really flows nicely. Don't be intimidated by the size it is well worth the time, and it isn't scarey like his other novels. Hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did.

For years the two sisters have heard their mother tell them about a Peasant Girl and a Prince, but it isn't until the death of their father that they hear it once more as adults and realize who the story is really about. This book is also about the relationship between mothers and daughters. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

This book is the ultimate Oregon Trail book. This story follows the King family as the traverse the open plains of the Midwest and the unexpected dangers they face. This is based on a true story of how Kings Valley in Oregon came to be. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read about the Oregon Trail.

I am so glad i checked this book out at the library. It is the worst craft book I have every seen. The crafts look like they are from the 70's, and the pictures of the crafts are really creepy. Do not buy this book.
