Pierce Quincy, a former FBI profiler wife is kidnapped. There seems to be too many suspects, which leaves him and various law enforcment agencies running around in circles. Lifes are lost and some are found. The race to find the kidnapper is a heart pounding, page turning story which has many twists and turns. Including the reason the kidnapper had to carry out his plan. Good read.

This anthology of 16 of Ireland"s best female writers, covers every emtion that is possible for the human race to express. The joys and sorrows as portrayed by sixteen diverse outlooks is an enjoyable journey into the human psyche. If there is a common thread, it is the exploration of the humanity of the protagonists. Enjoyable and compelling.

This is a wonderful story of two women who while searching for resolutions with their families find love and freedom to be who they truly are. Their search into their pasts, brings forth truths that their family members had hidden from them in order to "protect" them. When in reality the family members were only trying to protect themselves. A compelling read, one everyone who had a dysfunctional family( and who doesn't) should read.

This story is of a middle-aged woman's desire to know more about her family's past. It is a journey that takes her from Canada to the heart of India. It is poignant, sad, and joyful and ultimately fulfilling for the protagnist, Claire. A must read for anyone searching for the connections and disconnections between membes of one's family. I quite enjoyed it!
