Thanks to the publisher, Sourcebooks, and NetGalley for the chance to read this early! Before starting this book, I was concerned that since I had read only the 1st book, Backstage Pass, and not the 2nd, Rock Hard, that jumping around in this series would leave me confused...not so much. However, that wasn't the only reason I often felt lost among the story ~ after a little research on the author’s site I discovered that this is actually the 5th book, not the 3rd. This book would've made more sense to be released last since it seems to wrap the series up. I think I will wait until the other 2 installments, Hot Ticket & Snared, release then reread the series from the beginning in the order the author intended them to be released. As far as this book being a complete stand-alone - I vote no…only because there is a lot of the other band members’ involvement. I've read the author’s other series, One Night with Sole Regret, so I knew what to expect from this author ~ sex scenes that are both hot and sensual. Ms. Cunning always makes the attraction just hot and sexy enough, without going overboard. The chemistry between Reagan and Trey is intense; once Ethan is add to the mix - it exploded. This is perfect for readers looking for a read with a serious spice kick, hot rocker guys, and emotional intensity, Double Time is a must read. Enjoy! Welcome to back to Washington State. If you read the first installment, Fury of Fire, then you are already familiar with the characters; if not you really should check it out. This book picks up immediately following Fury of Fire. This review contains spoliers for Fury of Fire. I don’t want to spoil anything for those who haven’t read it yet, but WoW~~~~. This is a primal example of a paranormal romance. Coreene Callahan has created a group of characters and fine-tuned their individual personalities so well that you experience their emotions as your own. The struggles, the heartbreak, everything is so very well written that each event drags you fully into the experience. I read this entire book in a single day; couldn’t put it down. I am glad the next installment, Fury of Seduction, is coming soon. Rikar is the last of his kind; a frost dragon shifter, an all-male race born of human females. As 2nd in command of the Nightfury dragon clan it is his duty to protect humankind. Just great he seemed to be following in Bastian’s footsteps. He had only met the female once…and now he felt the bond between them; it is ~~ Undeniable ~~ Powerful ~~ Addictive. When, his female, Angela Keene, a homicide detective, is kidnapped by the enemy he will do anything to save her.

Welcome to Washington State. This debut novel is the beginning to many additional installments. Bastian is one of the oldest of his kind; an all male race born of human females - dragon-shifters. As leader of the Nightfury dragon clan it is his duty to protect humankind. With their numbers declining he needs to set an example. With only 5 days until the Meridian’s axis realign, he has less than a week to find a mate. “…Be the first to commit, to have a son, to lose his female in child birth.” Myst Munroe, a nurse practitioner, just wants to check on her pregnant patient, Caroline Van Owen. She is still recovering from her mother, Dana’s, murder. When she arrives at Caroline’s house and discovers her lying in a pool of blood, the flashbacks begin. Her training kicks in and she works to save both mother and her unborn child. Soon Bastian and his first in command, Rikar, arrive dressed as EMS workers, the battle begins. Bastian feels an immediate attraction to Myst; her energy is unlike anything he has experienced before. Seeing her distress, he feels a compelling need to take care of her. For Bastian, that is something that has never happen before but it is the one thing that he can’t seem to control. When Myst starts to recover from the shock she become desperate, he knows that she will need his help even if she is reluctant to accept it. Before long, Bastian finds himself unable to maintain his control he wants to claim Myst for his own. This is an emotion packed book that will make you laugh and make you cry. Myst’s plight comes right off the pages. Her confusion over her feelings for Bastian tears her. The secondary characters enrich the story.

Thanks to the publisher, Kensington, and NetGalley for the chance to read this early! A very explosive story! This story quickly caught my attention and took off at a sprint. It is the first in a new series about smoke-jumper firefighters. If the rest are even half as good as this one, then Ms. Marsh has a winning series on her hands. Well written, intense, and full of suspense, this story was on FIRE (pun intended). I’m not sure which I enjoyed most the romance, action or suspense. I found myself racing through the book trying to discover the stalker/serial arsonist was. The story was seriously intense up all the way through - I thought this was a fantastic read. This is the third series by this author I have read & enjoyed! I look forward to MANY more books written by her! She seems to have a series for everyone (A) Fallen, for her Paranormal readers; (B) Dawson Brothers, for her western readers, & this one for her suspense readers. Stolen: A Novel of Romantic Suspense
by

This review is also posted on my blog, Books Books and More Books Thanks to the publisher, Random House Publishing Group, and NetGalley for the chance to read this early! This isn’t your standard-issue, run-of-the-mill thriller about a stalker; it goes so far beyond that. If you have read other suspense novels by this author then you know what to except. The suspense is edgy, the romance is searing, and the characters are vivid. Even if you have read a ridiculous amount of suspense books lately and think you have seen all the twists and turns before give this one a read; you are in for a sweet treat. Shiloh Walker is an INSTANT BUY for me; she has so many great books; this is just another great example. Thanks to the publisher, Random House Publishing Group, and NetGalley for the chance to read this early! Sharp dialogue, steamy scenes, and tension that will ensure the reader, me, experiences each emotion alongside the character " and oh boy are there some strong emotions. Can't Hurry Love is the journey of two adversaries who discover it’s possible for two broken individuals to find love. Each has past insecurities that repeatedly interfere with the fragile happiness Eli and Victoria had found, they began to wonder if they can maintain a relationship; let alone trust each other to make a commitment…a must read book for 2012! Ms. O’Keefe has written a story that entails everything a romance needs to ensure it is both an entertaining and enjoyable read. Even the secondary characters have depth; helping to drive the story forward " we get the story of Madelyn Cornish & Billy Wilkins next. Wicked...Decadently Sinful...Prepare to be burned. Swan redefines sizzle and spark with heat-driven passion. Condemned to life without parole, Teague Creek finds himself with no choice but to break out of prison. His best chance of freedom is to stage his escape during an exam at the local hospital. Dr. Alyssa Foste is taken hostage during a daring prison escape; you would think that is the worst thing to happen " it is only the beginning. As the passion between them heats up, so does the threat to their lives. This story has the perfect balance of action/adventure and hot, steamy romance. Very fast paced, it is full of action, mystery, suspense and romance. Readers also meet Luke Ransom the hero from Blaze, the 2nd in the Phoenix Rising series! Joan Swan writes the kind of books I love to read!
