Abundance of Katherines
by
John Green

An Abundance of Katherines was an amazing, witty book that keeps its readers amused and longing for more.Filled with random factoids, Abundance keeps readers laughing and intrigued. Green writes in such a way that his readers can relate to what the characters are feeling and thinking. The book brings to its audience great joy and sometimes deep sadness, which brings out Green's excellent writing style. Thank you, John Green, for gifting the world with another amazing book.

Maze Runner 03 Death Cure
by
James Dashner

The Death Cure was a perfect ending to the Maze Runner trilogy. As you follow Thomas and his cohorts during the story, you can't help but feel what they feel. At every deed the characters perform, you writhe back into your little hole in the ground or you jump out of your seat. James Dashner uses such a great style of writing to describe the events in this amazing book. I'm just a little sad that there isn't a sequel to The Death Cure.

Heroes of Olympus 04 House of Hades
by
Rick Riordan

To start, I'll say that The House of Hades was most definitely the best of The Heroes of Olympus series. I went to get the book the day it came out, and I could not put it down for a second. Reading the book left me with excitement and sadness, and I have been wanting to talk to someone about it, but no one has finished it yet. Thank you, Rick, for not letting me down. Every page left me going back for more. The book was perfectly paced and each character's POV was extremely well written. If you haven't read it yet, read The House of Hades.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter #1)

This book and the rest of this series started my reading craze when I was just a little girl. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is amazing as the start of a series that will live in the minds of the people that have read them as long as they live, just like me.

Twilight: Twilight 1

Some of my friends read this series and encouraged me to read it besides my doubts. I tried as much as I could to get interested in the book, but I got bored very easily and found myself staring at the books I had wanted to read. Honestly, I tried to read Twilight, but the story created no spark in me. I see why people like the book since it holds an exceeding amount of romance with a love triangle between a werewolf, vampire, and a human.

Out of all of the Harry Potter books, this one has been my favorite. As most great books do, this made me cry and hold onto the edge of my seat both literally and figuratively.

The Silmarillion is an amazing book that tells the history of the world we know and love... Middle-Earth. Reading The Silmarillion is just like reading books of Greek and other mythologies! If you loved The Lord of the Rings, you would love this as well.
