Oath
by
Frank Peretti

Besides Ted Dekker being one of my favorite authors, Frank Peretti follows very close. My favorite book would be this one, The Oath. This book breaks down reality into a supernatural aspect yet keeps the readers intertwined into each chapter. With their lives at risk each person mist battle their inner demons if they ever want to see the next day. With occult rumors rising up from the grave, people falling ill and disappearing, it is up to Steve and Tracy to get to the bottom of the disappearances which have been claimed as random bear attacks. Though if they plan to survive, they are going to ha e to look into there inner demons and pray they can beat their demons in order to beat this dark hold over their town. In a world full of misconceptions and ignorance, The Oath sheds light on people battling, struggling, falling victim to their sins and desires, and falling pray to the demons that would love to feast on their soul. Frank does an outstanding job keeping the reader highly interested and constantly turning the pages cause you just can't get enough. The more you read the more you want to keep going so you can stay caught up with everything going on. This book is a must read and I can say it will keep you up all night just cause you can't put it down. Frank Peretti did an amazing job on The Oath and I know I'll read it time and time again.

Comes a Horseman
by
Robert Liparulo
Tana
, October 25, 2014
Comes a Horseman is a dark and grueling tale that takes two FBI agents and tosses them into something more than their average case. No, this case will tale them into somthing darker, something more demonic and ready to tear into their flesh. They oy have so much time to figure it out before they let their own madness take over. Comes a Horseman is a book that grabs your darker side and takes you for a wild ride. Once you start you never want to put the book down. As you read you watch mysteries unfold, prophecies come true, and madness revield. Robert Liparulo did an outstanding job when writing this book. His word play is breathtaking and he keeps the reader guessing even as mysteries unfold. This book is a definite winner in my eyes and if you don't believe me, try it out yourself. It is dark yet beautiful. A small masterpiece in itself.

Maze Runner 01

Intense page turner, mysteries, danger, death, and so much more. Dive in to an adventure of perilous tales and heart pulling truths. This is book one of three and it comes no where close to the movie. I for one love the books over movies and even though the movie was amazing, this book is even better. It takes you to dark levels that grasps your being to make you want to read more and more. Best part is it doesn't stop with book one but goes into book two and three. If you haven't bit into this delicious novel, you need to dive in and try this book. Its filled with something for everyone. This will be a book I can read again and again. A different type of apocolypic stature.

East: East 1
by
Edith Pattou
Tana
, October 23, 2014
East is a story of a unique, adventerous girl who travels to distant lands and experiences many strange and different things. Let's say this, if a giant white bear came to you asking you to just go with it...would you? For Rose she doesn't even question it. She hops on and goes on an adventure to save her family and ultimately herself and a stranger. I don't want to give to much away but this book is a pretty good page turner. Filled with wonder, adventures, mystery, curses, and so much more. For Rose, this is only the beginning of her life and the wonders it holds. Edith Pattou did a remarkable job grasping and writing from many perspectives. She unfolds raw emotion, answers to questions, and keeps the reader guessing after every page. Personally, I think it is a great book. Very well put together and given to the audience.

Hiding Place The Triumphant True Story of Corrie Ten Boom
by
Corrie Ten Boom
Tana
, October 22, 2014
No matter how many times I read this book I always end up crying and can never put it down until I've finished the book. The emotion of real life struggles, pain, death, sorrow, and personal confliction always rip away at my heart. Though even though the dark side shows, Corrie names sure to how joy in the pain, triumph in struggles, etc. I can never get enough of this book. We get an opportunity to look through someone else's eyes and feel everything they felt. There are no words to truly describe her story. The closest I can probably get is eye opening, heart wrenching, and faith building. Everyone should read this book at least once and I can guarantee once you do, you'll want to read it again. This book is absolutely amazing.

Ted Dekker has always been one of my favorite authors but Saint is probably one of my favorite books he has ever written. Its crafted with deep emotion which creates the perfect atmosphere for the book. Tons of suspense, twists and turns, things you never saw comimg, and so much more. I won't give anything away but this book is definitely worth reading! Once you start...it is really hard to put it down. So if you haven't read it, take some time and do so! Enjoy!
