The Duchannes are back, with the focus this time not on goodie goodie Lena, but her super fun, if somewhat dark, siren cousin, Ridley. This amazing follow-up to the best selling Beautiful Creatures series shows a side of Ridley and Link that we only get to see in profile in previous books. A wonderfully rich follow-up packing a strong emotional punch. Thrilled to be back in Kami and Margaret's world.

Once again, Connie Willis blends together past and the future to create an adventure that extends through time and space right into the anxious heart of her reader. A great place for new Willis fans to start, a wonderful return for Willis fans of the past, and a excellent historical journey for any lover of modern history.
