This is a chapbook I will keep forever. It is the story of a friendship, both necessary and toxic. Sarah Gerard has a magnetic style that left me longing for more regardless of how painful it may be, in the same way the relationship she describes does for those involved. She beautiful captures a human friendship and the way no relationship is as simple and sweet as we all wish it would be.

Amazing. Her writing style imparts the anxiety of the characters into the reader. It is complex and audacious and painfully relatable for young women who have struggled with obsession over their weight or been in a relationship with someone who needs them but doesn't see them.

I love this. It's a great blend of poetry, prose, and essay. I didn't want it to end. If you like unique works that touch on modern America you'll like this.
