The Hidden History of American Healthcare: Why Sickness Bankrupts You and Makes Others Insanely Rich
by
Thom Hartmann

, September 21, 2021
An extremely powerful piece of work from Mr Hartmann. It's stunning to see again how racism, bigotry and fear, along with unadulterated greed for power as well as wealth, permeates US society rendering The Four Freedoms as mere pablum. This one should be given out for free to each individual living in the US.

Nightmare Scenario
by

Well written, well organized, and it has an excellent voice. It's a tragic story we all watched play out in real time. But these authors coalesced the facts together seamlessly. All the players and their actions are on display. And it's clear to see how the former president removed himself of any responsibility and how the disease was politicized needlessly, resulting in over 600k dead and many who now refuse the vaccine. For me, this book was a real page turner. There's a lot that could be said for it. It provides a wonderful contribution and should be read widely.

The Hidden History of Monopolies: How Big Business Destroyed the American Dream
by
Thom Hartmann

, April 07, 2021
Another amazing read from Mr. Hartmann. Well organized and documented. There is so much information that I should have known about how we got to where we are; that no matter where you travel in any state, in any town, they all look the same, with the same fast-food joints, same hotels. It's all here, the last forty years of assault on small and medium businesses that started even before the so-called Reagan revolution. The good news is, there is a way out, we can get back our local Mom and Pop shops. This book is highly recommended to anyone who cares to restore the economy and the democracy from the roots up. With the new President and his empathic regard to the American people and with the younger generations who have everything to gain, Mr. Hartmann's research identifies the machinery that can be dismantled and restore a healthy business landscape.

The Hidden History of the War on Voting: Who Stole Your Vote and How to Get It Back
by
Thom Hartmann

, May 26, 2020
Another excellent read from Thom. Well written, with excellent documentation. And needless to say, a very timely topic that has significance for everyone. With so many people being thrown off the voter roles in so many states, it is important to know how it is done so that it can be stopped. Although voting was not/is not identified in the Constitution as a right, that does not mean that it should not be included as a specific right to all citizens. Voting should be an automatic right, and States and Localities must be required to prove beyond any reasonable doubt why any individual's right to vote should be stripped. In a time of pandemic, mail-in voting must be a rightful option for anyone and everyone who wants it. The pushback from groups to this option is unreasonable. Thom's book could certainly be amended after the 2020 general election as more assaults on voting will no doubt happen. A must read, must share.

The Hidden History of the Supreme Court and the Betrayal of America
by
Thom Hartmann

, March 15, 2020
Very concise, and more than relevant. It's an easy read, with an impressive bibliography that makes further research a breeze. Thom Hartmann obviously cares and shares his concerns about the state of the United States and provides an education you won't find in school. This is a must read, must share kinda book.
