Grace and Glory

Holy Moly! Wow. My heart is POUNDING. That was a perfect ending for Zayne and Trinity.Grace and Glory was the most perfect conclusion for them and I loved every page, every turn, every heartbreak. After the ending of Rage and Ruin I was like OKAY JEN ENOUGH WITH THE SOUL DESTROYING PAIN but gods she knows how to write. I was right there with Trin the entire time and felt her pain and her happiness and her fear. Trinity might be one of the strongest most amazing heroines Jen has ever written. Knowing how Jen deals with the same things makes me love her even more. This story is so special and inspiring. Trinity and Jen are inspiring. The way this story gave me all the feels and broke then healing my heart was superb. Everything I want in Jen’s books were there: a hero that listens and loves, protects and encourages and is SMOKIN HOT! A heroine that is so snarky and sassy, strong but real. Side kicks and other characters that are so amazing, supportive, hilarious and so intriguing you want them to get their stories told! These funny characters being people you never thought you’d love but holy crap Lucifer was the best addition and I was laugh so hard every time he was in the story. Every page captivated me and made me not want to put it down. When I got to the ending my heart was so happy with how Jen wrapped up this world. Paranormal romance that makes you hope and want to be better, a story that takes you on a roller coaster of feels and epic characters that never leave you.

I was SO excited to read this book and get more of Raiden and Egan! And it did not disappoint! This book was filled with so much love, self discovery and self acceptance. It was absolutely lovely and my heart was so full of love reading about these two who were clearly fated to be together. There’s so much more I want to say but I don’t want to spoil anything of this book because reading it and experiencing it for the first time was awesome. A must read! Sweet, innocent, pure and absolutely heart warming.

By the stars! I loved this book! It was a perfect sweet innocent and first love book. It portrayed two men who found solace in each other and found a place to be themselves and to be accepted completely. The small moments between them were so sweet and made me feel fluttery and as if I was experiencing first love all over again. This book is definitely the beginning of a series that will have love, action and strength and I can’t wait to read the next installment. I love how Debbie has written a book without any negative or homophobic moments. It shows how the world SHOULD be and how love is love. I absolutely adored it. A perfect YA Fantasy that perfectly reflects what the lgbtqia+ needs. Favorite quotes: “We cannot compare losses, because each one is unique and no less real to those that experience them.” “Be safe, be smart, but have fun and live.”

Absolutely wonderful! Could not have loved this more! I enjoyed this soooo much! The story is sweet and adorable and the characters are absolute dreams. This story was set so well, the growth and the love came through and I felt like I was falling in love along side of them. Henry and Alex were absolutely incredible and I would read so much more about them. Love love love!!! Can’t recommend this enough!

This was a sweet, heartwarming and funny story! A total beach read rom com! I absolutely loved it and couldn’t put it down! I’ve been reading a lot of romances lately that are quite steamy but this one didn’t have that and at first I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it but I’m so happy to say I LOVED IT. This story wasn’t about the steam or about a hot romance. It was real and true and sweet. The story carried you all the way through and I couldn’t stop til I knew how it ended. The friendships were awesome and I loved the girl power and support going on. I can’t wait to get to know the girls more, as I’m assuming the next books are about them. I loved how Abby found herself and got more confidence from herself and from her friends and I loved how Zane wasn’t her savior but a compliment to her and she helped change him for the better. A extremely cute and sweet rom com!

WHAT A RIDE! Wow. JLA never disappoints and this book was phenomenal! Luc was a character that was entertaining and has become one of my all time favorites. His personality is one of the funniest, kindest, badass and beautiful I’ve read in a long time. This book picks up right where The Burning Shadow ended and I felt like it kept pace with where it started and ended. I absolutely LOVED having characters from the Lux series so prominent in this story and it felt completely natural... tho I want more Dee and Archer!!! Evie’s character changes in the best possible ways throughout this book and it was quite a journey. I loved every thought she had and was never bored as she thought through so many issues and decisions before her. Her and Luc are such a special partnership and this book gave me everything I wanted and more! This book is holy llama alien babies crack on a cracker good!

This book was AWESOME! Wow, I knew I’d enjoy it but holy cow I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! It was hilarious and smart and real and incredibly sweet. I loved how this was a lovers to enemies to lovers and was completely different than anything I’ve read in a long time. The characters made me laugh out loud constantly and I felt such a connection to the story. If you want a hilariously sweet rom com, this is the book for you. I can’t wait to re read this one again!!!! SO GOOD!!!

This book sounded so good and had so much potential! Enemy to Lovers can be so awesome but it has to be done right. The first portion of this book I absolutely loved. The enemies part is always fun trying to guess why they are enemies or seeing how they hate on each other but you KNOW there’s more. But it felt like it so quickly resolved the enemies issues and I was like ... what I want more and now what?? Enemies to Lovers is best when it’s a slow burn not Insta love/list. It just didn’t quite hit the mark. The “issue” they have towards the end seemed like not a big enough problem to overcome and I felt like it was resolved fast too. I expected something so much more to cause problems since they stopped being enemies really fast. The intimate scenes were so awkward. First of all, “moan” was used way too much and I think it didn’t come across like the author thought. It didn’t feel natural. And it just felt awkward when they were kissing or anything else. It was a little annoying how much fixation was on how white and milky his skin was. Obviously, at some point a description makes sense but every time she looked at him she talked about it and it felt so weird. I had so much hope for this book and the premise sound amazing but it just fell flat for me. The first portion was really great but then just meh. I wanted to love it so bad but it just didn’t do it for me.

Love Her or Lose Her

*Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review* Tessa Bailey is my new go to for romance! Such a great balance of love, humor, heartbreak and sexy times!! She’s my new romance queen! I was so excited to finally get Rosie and Dominic’s story!!! I’ve never read a romance about a married couple and I was totally here for it! It was so different knowing there was a past and slowly getting glimpses into it. I loved falling in love with them and knowing the past, present and glimpsing the future. Such a breath of fresh air in my romance reads! Rosie was so relatable in her fears and insecurities. I totally related to her job and wanting more. She is totally different than me but I was able to relate to her as a wife and a woman and that was awesome. Loved her so much! Dominic was like AMAZING. Even his flaws were hot! Haha I just really loved his love and his dedication to Rosie. I really enjoyed reading his perspective and I just fell easily in love with him. Swoon worthy!!!!

Gah!!!! This is like the ultimate trope for me! Sooo good! I love how Tessa writes her heroines and heroes! They are so perfectly flawed and they BOTH are changed for the better due to this other person! As the youngest of three and the only girl I felt SO connected to Georgie! She was the ultimate tom boy who realizes you can be both a tom boy and sexy! Reading as Georgie really became this strong amazing women who was ALWAYS there but didn’t know or felt confident enough to be what she could be. I loved how dorky and hilarious and sweet she was. The girl we all want to be bffs with!!! The idea of having your feelings or attraction returned by the man you’ve crushed on your whole life is SO RELATABLE! I just loved this storyline and how the friendship and then romance was built! I loved every step! And how could I not mention Travis. Good gracious he’s the man! Perfect man with all his flaws and gorgeousness! I loved the idea of him having to deal with such a big change and disappointment of his injury. It was different than most “athletic” romance stories! It was awesome watching how he changed and how he showed the world who he really is! And I loved how he wasn’t intimidated or felt less a man when Georgie stood up for him! He was perfect! This was an AWESOME love story or second chances and I loved each part of it! It was sweet, funny, emotional and smexxxyyyyy 🧡🧡🧡 The dugout scene was discussed a lot but I’d say the limo scene was HAWTTT

Reborn Yesterday

Rating this was hard for me. I tried reading this book multiple times but I never got past the first page or two and that originally made me think I’d rate this lower (I also have someone named Ginny in my life that made it hard to not picture them at first lol) but then as the story unfolded I found myself absolutely loving this book. I just had to change what I was expecting. This is not an average paranormal romance. It’s a wonderfully dark rom com paranormal romance. Ginny ended up being so quirky, awkward, hilarious, strong and so brave! I loved watching her change throughout the book to be a stronger person. Her love of old fashioned movies and how that shapes who she was completely endeared her to me. The fact that she was an outcast made her that much more relatable and you were absolutely rooting for her. Great first book in a series and a great first paranormal romance for the always amazing Tessa Bailey!

Rage & Ruin

*I received an ARC for an honest review* Wow. Just wow. I may say this with every book but it is completely true. JLA gets better and better with every book. This book was outstanding. I felt every emotion possible throughout this book and each emotion was vivid and clear and to my core. JLA flawlessly pulls you in and keeps you wanting more. I was captivated and engaged and loving every word, every one, every chapter. Zayne, whom I cared for but he wasn’t my all time, became EVERYTHING through out this book. Most books take a bad boy and make him good and what made this series even better was that Zayne is already do good. He’s kind, empathetic and intelligent and giving. What I loved second to that was the banter/interaction of Zayne and Trinity. They felt realistic and perfectly flawed. I laughed out loud so many times during this book that I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. That’s not true, JLA wipes that smile off with her cruel and amazing words. I cried happy and sad tears and loved every minute. So many paranormal books are surface level, but JLA took this book to the core of your heart and it will always remain there. The characters and storylines touched me and gave me everything I wanted and everything I had no idea I wanted from this series. Twists and turns all over the place and my heart was pounding to the last word. Read Dark Elements people, Read Storm and Fury and then devour this book as soon as you can because it was flawless.
