Theremin Ether Music & Espionage

Theremin is a well-written biography. Even if you know nothing about the instrument, the man behind the instrument is sure to intrigue you. A fascinating life. Love found, love lost, adventure, music, brilliance, science, politics, socialism, mystery. He lived it all. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the inventors, music, socialism, Russia, art, and with a general interest in biographies. With life as Leon Theremin's, the biography is sure to grip you... not a dull biography at all.

Water for Elephants

Ahhh, life in the circus. This book is wonderful. Telling tales of life in the circus [and of a very old man], sharing found memories; humor, sadness, happy times, harsh times. The writer is full of passion and seems to know her stuff. She is a heartfelt writer and truly makes you feel love [or hate] for the characters. I loved the story, loved the end, I wanted more.
