An adorable, ironic novel about a loveable boy and his mistaken father and lost mother, in the form of mock murder mystery. Full of humor and endearing personality. Fantastic!

Lovely Bones

A good begining, exploring the themes of death, the afterlife, forgiveness, relationships, survival and family. However, I found it lost drive halfway through, becoming stagnant and uninteresting. By the end, there was a complete loss of direction which took away from what could have been a good ending (though I must admit I was not at all pleased with the outcome and lack of conclusion). An average book, worth reading if you are stuck on a boat in the middle of the atlantic with nothing else.
