This is an extremely interesting book about a crime that took place in Ga. 1915. A Jewish businessman accused of killing a little girl found in the basement of the building he worked in. The antisemitism and bigotry that played a large part in the outcome is what the book is largely about. It's a fascinating look at how things were in the south even into the 20th century. Young kids working, people publishing anti semitic writings, juries bullied into decisions, unbelievable! Read it, it's a great book.

Twilight of Innocence: The Disappearance of Beverly Potts

I bought this book a year ago because I like true crime from days past. This is very well written and takes you right into 1950 and the neighborhood where the little girl lived. This story will always haunt me; I know I will never forget this child who disappeared so long ago. Not all true crime books get to you the way this one did to me. It truly made me feel for the parents and friends who had to suffer this tragedy. If nothing else, I will always remember little Beverly, a beautiful child who was lost one sad summer night. If you read this book, you will too.

Autofocus Bob Crane

I thought this book was fascinating. I never cared that much for Hogans Heros and didnt really know too much about Bob Crane. When I read this I felt very sorry for him. It seemed he wanted to get back to some kind of normal life when he was killed. Unfortunately, his murder has not been officially solved. This is a great book, very interesting but sad that his life was cut short. An intriguing mystery For true crime fans this is one of the good ones!
