An amazing, captivating story. Despite my initial disbelief, Michael Finkel spent hours with the hermit. As hard is it is to fathom, Christopher Knight really did spend all those years in the woods completely isolated. This book is great and sticks in your mind for quite some time.

David Quammen's writing is as informative and captivating as ever. I just re-read the Ebola portion - a great, scientific contrast to the hype-filled airwaves right now.
