Five Book Friday: In Memoriam
(0 comment)
Every year, the booksellers at Powell’s submit their Top Fives: their five favorite books that were released in 2023. Georgia Nicolson 06 Then He Ate My Boy Entrancers More Mad Marvy

I absolutely love all of Rennison's books. The witty banter and use of vocabulary by the main character, Georgia, and her friends rings true to how today's 14 year old girls speak (of which I am one). It's helpful that a glossary is provided to look up the typically British slang. The glossary itself never fails to make me fall out of my chair from laughter! I once read just the glossary to my 16 year old brother and his sides ached from laughing. I find it astounding that Ms. Rennison, an adult, can write fiction that holds true to the teen mind.

I LOVED this book. It is the best book i have ever read. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. This book is for teenagers from 13 to 20 or older. Almost every girl in my school has read this book and they all agree it is very very good.
