Mary Jemison: White Woman of the Seneca: A Novel
by
Peter Jemison

, September 15, 2006
Always registered as a children's book because it doesn't include sex or swearing, but three are at least three levels to this book and that makes it accessible to everyone. It was originally Gangi's award winning screenplay, touted as one of the "top 50 in America." She converted it to novel form when filmmakers wanted her to undemine the story by re-writing it with a male lead. Mary Jemison was a real woman, captured by the Shawnee and French, then gifted to two Seneca sisters. Gangi's telling of her story is the only book on Mary Jemison sanctioned by the Seneca Nation as true.

The context of this book ia as "Breeni" says, part instruction, part inspiration. A must have for anyone interested in alternative or holistic health.
