Art of War

It's odd how a book witch is about war and fighting, can have such a strong place in everyday life. But this book is such a help for the battles that you fight everyday. This book is sometimes almost too strong- seeing that it is talking about ways to destroy others, but it is still a string guide to how to live each day.

Good art book, good info, nice art....extreamly basic. I think its a good book for start-out- mangaka. But it's just a start, after you get those ideas done, I would move on and get more of these books- they will be very helpful.

Bush on the Couch Inside the Mind of the President
by

(sigh) yet another bush bash book- I had hopes that any of it's info could be backed up- but none of it really was. You could say that anyone had mental peoblems. In fact we all do, it's part of being human- but this book was struggling to thow dirt. If your going to say anything in a book you need to back it up. My personal feeling is that real people with mental problems spend their time trashing others, and I didn't need to write a book to say that.

[t]Inuyasha[/t] (dog boy) is a story that fills my soul with joy. My pesonal feedback is not worthy to rest on the same page as it. Honstly though- this[kw] manga[/kw] is a [kw]manga [/kw]to love for the rest of your days. Have you seen the [kw]t.v. show[/kw]? forget it- because this rocks my socks off way more the the show- the show only rocked my shoe laces loose- but now with [a]Inuyasha[/a], I have no socks. but I don't mind cold feet- I couldn't care less- I'm reading Inuyasha.

Eragon (The Inheritance Cycle #1)
by
Christopher Paolini
jengem
, September 29, 2006
people will be mad at me for saying this, but this book didn't do it for me. My reasons why I couldn't get into it were: 1. it felt like a raw book- the dialogue felt week. I enjoyed the basic idea, but [t]Eragon[/t] seemed more like a draft for a book then a book. 2.I felt like it was a bit more of a try for a copy of [kw]lord of the rings[/kw]- or other oldder [kw]fanticy[/kw] books. Those books are good because they tell a great story and they have their own new ideas- this didn't feel new at all. 3. I also was a little sad that Eragon had some very Stereotyped people. Old guy who knows more then what he's saying and upset young guy who pouts allot. In all truth I think that [a]Christopher Paolini[/a] WILL be a good writer- this is a questionble first book- but I'm shure in 10 years he will be better. I'll just have to wait and see.

Inkheart 02 Inkspell
by
Cornelia Funke

[t]Inkheart[/t] has filled my heart! I cant believe that a book translated so well from [kw]German[/kw] into English. It is pure like poetry! I just get the gutters when I read it- It?s a book about my childhood dream, to be able to meet people from storybooks and to get to be read INTO a book! It?s magic! I think book 3 will just get better! This book is going on my favorite shelf with all my favorite books!

If you have watched the [kw]princess bride movie[/kw] movie- you may have watched a grate movie- but your still missing out if you haven?t read the book- This story gets 1,000,000 stars, not 5- but sadly I can only click up to five.

Inkheart (Inkheart #1)
by
Cornelia Funke
jengem
, September 28, 2006
I commonly only rate books I love, and this is one of them. This book is written with beautiful language and wonderful storytelling talents. And to top it off- each chapter is started with a quote from a different book that coincides with the chapter coming up. Books like [kw]The Princess bride[/kw] and [kw]To kill a mocking bird[/kw] are quoted! This is a book for book lovers. I can?t wait to have children of my own to read them into the world of [t]Inkheart[/t]! If I could Id rate it much higher then 5! [a]Cornelia Funke [/a]made me a fan!

Fullmetal Alchemist Novel 01 The Land Of Sand
by
Makoto Inoue
jengem
, September 27, 2006
[t]fullmetal alchemist [/t] by [a]Makoto Inoue[/a] Is a [kw]Manga[/kw] that I wouldn?t recommend for children- its not crude or crass, but it has a very painful under story. If your looking for a [kw]manga[/kw] that will not only be filled with amazing images and powerful story line then I recommend this- if you want something light (though this does have a lot of light cute stuff) I wouldn?t recommend this. You will finish this [kw]manga[/kw] and be left reflecting on it for a while. All the same it is one of my favorite [kw]mangas[/kw] of all times!
