First came into contact with Peter Temple on an earlier Powell's review of The Broken Shore. Identity Theory is another fine work by Peter Temple. It is well written, wish some of the US authors could write as neat and concise as Temple. Great Book. Am searching for more by Peter Temple.

I always look forward to Rick Reilly's stories in Sports Illustrated--they are great reads. But this book is nothing but a lame attempt at humor. Maybe is trying to get a hit with the next Caddyshack. But he fails and wouldn't recommend it to serious readers.

Fire at Edens Gate Tom McCall & The Oregon Story

This book is so important to the understanding of the mindset and culture of Oregonians that it ought to be required reading for every high school senior and for every person that runs for public office in Oregon. Great Book about our former governor who had such a great vision for our state.
