I've been in love with this book since I was a little girl. The lessons I learned as child from this book continue to shape the ways I communicate & behave. Highly recommended for every child and adult!

This beautiful book nearly saved my life many years ago. This book has passionate prose, real experiences and the feeling of awakening to knowing your not alone as a queer woman of color. Read it and be enlightened and inspired.

A co-worker recommended this book to me. I'm so glad she did as I still recall images & feelings this book conjured while reading.

This was the most boring book on a persons sexual exploits that I have ever read.

The book was far more wonderful and exciting than the film version. Reading this book gives the almost physical sensation of adventure as you encounter the world of horse racing in the late 30's. This story unfolds to show the spirit of men, America and one truly amazing animal.

Listening to this book is even funnier than reading the printed version. With John Stewarts pithy comments, real historical information and of course the jokes, I recommend listening to this on your next road trip, sick day or even while cleaning the house.

This is a well written and informative book! If you care at all about the environment, workers rights & what goes into the foods we eat, you'll love this book.

This book was a beautiful & intense read. The pivotal heartbreaking moment in the main characters life had me crying for 2 days. I've never been so moved emotionally by a love story in my life, as I was from this book.
