A good book written as Vietnam is beginning to fade from our collective memories as things do in our society. The once young veterans grow older with many now in their 60s and 70s, The times were different and this war was so different than those before or after. Matterhorn is a good read that will take you in-country and re-introduce you to those times.

Knowing something about the circus I loved the world in which the story took place. The story itself left me feeling good at the end of the book. Few books do that.
