It’s a list that, when put together, shows just how varied and interesting the book tastes of Powell’s booksellers are. I highly recommend digging into the recommendations — we would never lead you astray — but today...

Although I haven't read this book either, I fell in love with it by reading the reviews and summaries. It reminds me of the Gossip Girls series but in Los Angeles. It is good to see the West Coast for a change.

Again, the name alone sounds interesting. Anything with mean girls, especially in a boarding school, should be a good page turner.

One of the best movies of 2006, Pirates of the Caribbean does not disappoint. It holds your attention from the very beginning. I love how they have turned Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann into pirates. This movie entertains beginning to end.

Clique 01

What a great book to start off a series! The Clique was one of the best books I have read since Harry Potter. The characters are well thought of. For example, Massie is the queen bee, Alicia is the gossip master, Dylan is the rich insecure second in command, and Kirsten is the sporty follower, while Claire is the wannabe. As soon as I heard of the book I wanted it and when I got it, I couldn't put it down. I think that every girl should read this book. It really shows how catty girls can be.

Although I haven't read the book, it sounds interesting. I've read the Clique novels, so if it is anything like that, I'm sure I would enjoy it. The name alone sounds good.
