The first in the series, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, was an excellent suspenseful novel which was difficult to put down. Then the following books in the series were even better! The character development, the complex plot lines, the action and the political commentary all combined to make this an excellent series. Too bad the author passed away before the fourth book was finished.

Lovers & Madmen A True Story of Passion Politics & Air Piracy

Fascinating account regarding the evolution of an intelligent American young woman into a political activist, willing to take extreme risks to make a statement. I found her descriptions of her thought processes while hijacking an airplane to be especially interesting. This book is especially relevant given today's political climate regarding eco-terrorists and other extreme activists.
