I loved this book for its constant turning of voice and perspective. Gillian Flynn writes like a hybrid of Jennifer Egan and Patricia Highsmith. Looking forward to reading her other novels.

This book will change the way you think about what happened during Hurricane Katrina, and will change how you think what it means to be American. At least, that's what this book did for me. Dave Eggers applies his amazing abilities as a fiction writer to bring to life a true story of one family's experience in New Orleans preceding, during, and after the storm. I feverishly read this book in about 36 hours and have no doubt that you will too.
