This hilarious book is a compilation of all 5 of the Scurvy Dog comic books. It's about modern-day pirates who sail around having adventures...until they lose their ship. They fight the Hobo King and more. It's full of modern, edgy humor. I found it very entertaining and hope they write some more.

Killer Angels

This is a very absorbing Civil War novel. I was skeptical at first about reading a war novel, but it was a very interesting, character-driven novel. I really felt like I got to know the major players at the Battle of Gettysburg, their personalities, hopes, and fears. The author used a lot of primary sources to describe the battle. I found this novel somewhat unusual in that the author did a good job at staying impartial and just describing what happened without taking sides. A great novel!
