The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain, Fiction, Classics

Despite the fact that this book is regularly required for high schoolers, Mark Twain revives a remarkable time period of leisure and way-of-life. Tom Sawyer, the young, mischevious boy who has been a troublemaker his whole life, discovers more than the excitement of skipping school and eventually develop breath-taking adventures down the Mississippi. The details and meticulous storyline that is made by Twain released my stress--for it pulled me closer to what mankind would be living like without many materialistic objects we all have nowadays. Twain resurrects the southern lifestyle that truly existed in America during the 1800s, life was easy and fragile with the daily adventures alike Tom's. I had to read this for a paper but truly enjoyed it and also went on to read the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

I definitely loved this manga, on the very first glances of the art, I can tell that the artist spent large amounts of time on each character. It's great how they put in multiple main characters-focuses on more than just one character, so it's an extremely cute vampire story ^_^! I highly recommend this book.
