What can I say?? Christopher Moore writing noir? Be still my heart. Dark humor? I eagerly await this novel. Can you resist with that noir cover? No. Gams, guns, and get even. Then add humor. Nothing can keep Moore from his mission. Eager to read. Valerie J Brooks, writer of noir fiction

Wild
by
Cheryl Strayed
vjbrooks51
, January 01, 2013
When it comes to honest self-examination and an excruciating, eye-opening tale of her trek, novice hiker Cheryl Strayed writes down to the bone. Not one to go easy on herself, she pushes herself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to the brink when she takes on the Pacific Crest Trail in order to rid herself of pain and grief while finding peace and enduring strength after her mother dies and her family disintegrates. She earns every mile and word in her story of pushing oneself to the limit in order to break free of the past and open up new possibilities.
