Really haunting and graphic - love how Ms. Morrison paints images and feelings with words. We listened to her read the book as we traveled the freeways of the West - what a trip!

The Art of Racing in the Rain

The first few lines made me a bit nervous (because it could have gone so terribly wrong, you see), but I was laughing and crying within the first three pages.Stein and his unconventional narrator make the requisite suspension of disbelief effortless; I was swept away and I suspect you will be, too.
