Burned Alive: A Survivor of an Honor Killing Speaks Out
by

This was by far the hardest book I've ever read. The brutality was overwhelming. To think that honour killings exist to this day is mind boggling. Thank goodness for the aid worker and her determination.

Thousand Splendid Suns

What an extraordinarily moving story of love, family, war and the human spirit. I managed to read this book in 2 days with a tight feeling in my chest and a knot in my stomach. Even though this book is fiction it seems to draw a lot of history from the war in Afghanistan and the culture. It?s truly a must read that won?t disappoint!
