Bitter Seeds is an extremely well crafted novel ...part SF...part steampunk..part fantasy.... with a grand 20th century war/adventure story that is full of unique ideas. Magic...cyborgs...Nazis... Come on!... this is exactly what great escapist fiction is all about! Buy this book!

Zona A Book About a Film About a Journey to a Room
by
Geoff Dyer
John F. Foster III
, August 04, 2012
I have to commend Dyer for writing a film critique that actually soars! This isn't some dry, university film prof trying to maintain his career...Dyer has trancended the genre of the "film book". Zona is intensely personal, deeply moving and highly readable. Stalker is one of my favorite films and Dyer has brought back all my memories of seeing the film in a theater for the first time. Tarkovsky is/was one of the world's great filmmakers. Buy this book and explore the Zone like never before.
