Great book. This is my absolute favorite series, and when this book came out I loved the series even more! This book gets a little darker, and the characters are growing up and getting a little angry at times. From start to end this book keeps you interested! There is always something happening. Highly recommended. Others I like: Twilight series, Blue Bloods series, and the Uglies series.

This story takes place in the early 1900's. Basically, a girl finds out she has magic powers and she explores it with her friends during boarding school. They start sneaking out at night and having secret meetings. I liked this story and I am looking forward to reading the next book. I was a little bored at some points, but mostly I was scared, excited and teary eyed! Others I recommend: Uglies series, Blue Bloods, Twilight series

Peeps 01

Good book. I love Scott Westerfeld's Uglies series, so I thought I would check this out. I did not enjoy it as much as the Uglies, but I did like it. The vampires in this story are a little more dirty and creepy than most of the other vampire books. Unlike other vampires, the "virus" tranfers through fluids and not just through a bite. I will read the next book in this series. Others I recommend: The Uglies series, the Twilight series, the City of Ashes series, and Blue Bloods series.

So, this book is another take on the Beauty and the Beast. I didn't feel a connection to the characters and it was a little slow at some points. I almost stopped reading it, but decided to finish it. I'm glad I did. I don't recommend the book, but its a quick read if you have nothin else. Others I recommend: The Twilight series, the Uglies series, and the Blue Bloods series. Oh, and the City of Ashes series.

It was fun to read! I enjoyed it more than the first one. There are quite a few scary and intense parts; sometimes I was afraid to read in the dark! I'll read it again and I look forward to finding out what happens next. Can't wait! Others I recommend: The Twilight series, the Uglies series, and the Blue Bloods series.

I got this book as a recommendation to waste time while I wait for the fourth book in the Twilight series to come out. It starts out with some action. Its scary has some romance, vampires and werepeople. I really enjoyed the book, but there were some slow parts. In all: I'm glad I read it and would recommend for a quick read. Other I recommend: Twilight series, Uglies series, Chosen series, and I even enjoyed the Blue Bloods series.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter #2)
by
J.K. Rowling

This is the second book in the WONDERFUL Harry Potter series. I loved the first book, but the second was even better. By this book you really feel like you know the characters. Like you are with them at Hogwarts exploring the castle and fighting off Voldemort. The last few chapters are amazing. Another MUST read! (I must stress that if you've seen the movie and don't think you need to read the book because of it, you're wrong! So much better!). Other books I recommend: Uglies series, Twilight series, and the Golden Compass series (I read this series when I was younger waiting for other Harry Potter books to come out, I loved it).

Vampire Diaries 3 & 4 The Fury & Dark Return
by

I gave this book a 3 because it was good, but it didn't blow me away. Yes, there were some pretty good scary parts and an interesting story line, but the writing seemed a little choppy at times and the author left out small details I would think we're important. Other than that: good for a quick read. I was waiting for another book to come out and reading this kept me busy. I did love the ending. Other books I recommend: The Uglies series, the Twilight series (a must if you love vampire books), and the Golden Compass series.

I first read this book when I was about 15. I loved it. That is where it all started. I couldn't stop! I ready the next 2 and eagerly awaited the 4th. I don't understand when people have only seen the movies. The books are so much better than the movies (which I also enjoy). They need to be read. Read it!

Vampire Diaries 1 & 2 Awakening & The Struggle

Easy read. Pretty good at some parts, but a little boring in others. The writing is a little choppy. I did have to reread a couple of parts to understand what was happening. I wouldn't say it is a must read, but its a quick read to waste some time. Other books I recommend: The Twilight series, the Uglies series, and the Marked series. I also enjoyed the Blue Blood series.

It was good. I read it very fast. I enjoyed the first two books better, but I am looking forward to the 4th book this fall. Just a note: I think this book may have parts that might be a little too "grown up" for kids maybe under 14. I do recommend the series. Others I recommend: Uglies series, Twilight series (another Vamp series that is really good), Harry Potter, and the Blue Bloods series.

Blue Bloods 01

At first I was a little frustrated with this book. It seemed like it was going to be a snooty teenage girl book. Towards the middle I really started to get into it, and began to really enjoy the main character. By the end of the book I was really into it, and I found I was sad when the book was over. Other books I recommend: Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, Harry Potter, Uglies series, and the Marked series by P.C. Cast.

While waiting for the next books in the Twilight series and the Uglies series I needed a new book/series to keep me busy. This has definitely met that need (well, only for about three days). It was exciting from the start of the book and continued to be exciting through the end. I recommend this. I believe the second book comes out next month and I can't wait! Other quick reads I recommend: the Blue Bloods and Marked series.

Twilight 03 Eclipse

Stephenie Meyer

I loved the first two books, and this one was just as good. It was suspensful, exciting, and scary. I found myself getting frustrated (because I know who I want Bella to be with) at parts, but thats good because I was so into the book! Highly recomended! Read it! When you're done with this book (which you'll read very fast) there is another vampire series to read while you're waiting for the 4th book: Marked, Betrayed, then Chosen by P.C. Cast. Other books I recommend: Uglies series, Harry Potter, and The Golden Compass series

Twilight 02 New Moon UK Edition

Stephenie Meyer

This is the second book from Stephenie Meyers Twilight series. This book was better than the first one! Once I began reading it, I couldn't stop (just like the first book). Its an exciting, kind of scary, romantic, and magical book. Just my style! I can't help but wish I was apart of the book. If you read these books, and can't find anything else to read check out Marked by P.C. Cast. It will satisfy the need for another vampire book! Other books I recommend: Harry Potter, The Golden Compass series, the Uglies series, and the Marked series.

The Amulet of Samarkand

This book was alright. I tried to read it two years ago, but couldn't get through it. So, I tried to read it again a month ago and it took me FOREVER to get through. Yes its a great book, and I can understand why many people love the series, but I will not read the last books. I felt the main character was really boring and kind of a brat. The demon was a great character. I wish it was always through the eyes of Bartimaeus. His chapters were fun, witty and exciting! Other books I reccomend: The Uglies series, the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, and of course Harry Potter

Okay, I give the beginning of the book a 3 and the end a 4. At first I didn't like the main character. I thought she was a little snotty and just a silly teenager. Towards the end she grew up and the story got better. Its another interesting vampire story.I recommend for a quick and easy read. I will also read the next book that comes out this summer. Other books I recommend: All Harry Potters (I don't think there are too many people left that haven't read this), the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, the Golden Compass series (I loved it before the movie), and the Uglies series.

Twilight: Twilight 1

I was told this series is supposed to be like the new Harry Potter. Even though I don't completely agree with that, I really enjoyed this book. Stephenie Meyer has a way of writing that makes everything so clear in your mind as you read. I enjoyed it so much that I finished in 3 days and bought the other two books and finished those in a week!
