they made a film out of it for a reason.. and while i haven't wasted my time seeing it.. the book is worth every second... hysterical.. hard-to-believe.. and impeccably written.. of all the Burroughs' books.. this is a must read.

great book for those who love memoirs of family dysfunction and outrageousness. loved it. one of those books where i saw it on the shelf.. thought id like it.. read the first page and it actually made me know i needed to read it...I was right. One of those candy reads.. so good you keep reading and wanting more.
