I loved this book. It was a quick two day read that I did not want to put down. So well written you knew and felt for the characters. There were parts to this story that may have come across as corny if not so well written. This writer combined just the right amount of grit and heart to make you believe these characters as portrayed. I can see this novel made into a movie; you could easily picture In your mind what was taking place as you read. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

The Book of the Unnamed Midwife: Road To Nowhere 1

I really like this book. The first 1/3 of the book reminded me of The Road. Very apocalyptic; trying to survive traveling and avoiding the violence of others. The last part of the book spends more time developing newer characters. Well written. Looking forward to the next book!

I am on the 2nd book in this series and can't wait to read the 3rd! This series is very exciting with lots of action. I love the way this author writes. He is very detailed so when reading the fast paced story, you can picture exactly what is going on. Would make a great movie. Characters are very well developed. I read alot of apocalyptic sci fi and this story does not disappoint.

I loved this book! If you like the zombie genre at all, you will like this book. It has all the elements of a great zombie storyline, plus so much more. There are lots of twists and turns. The characters are very well defined. The writing is great. Highly recommend. I will be looking up this author to check out any books he writes.

This Book Is Full of Spiders Seriously Dude Dont Touch It
by
David Wong

Loved this book, as I did the prequel 'John Dies at the End'. David Wong's writing style is so descriptive and laugh out loud witty. He has a way of making the situation humorous while also terrifying. His writing is consistent from one book to another so I look forward to reading all books he has written. I highly recommend this book!

This is a very exciting, on the edge of your seat, read. From the first chapter the book is fast-paced and sucks you in. Characters are well defined and strong. Slows a bit in the middle with lots of detail but picks back up for a climactic ending.

I really enjoyed this book and look forward to book 2. It was refreshing to read an author who knows how to write. The book flowed well, kept you intrigued, had all the aspects of a good read. Although it is said to be a post-apocalyptic horror book, it was not over the top and should be found in the teen/young adult section of any library. The characters were well developed. I found this book to read like a movie script; I could picture each scene easily in my head as I was reading because of the detail given. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this book. The writing was light, intelligent, and very funny. Told from the point of view of the more 'intelligent' zombie, it was a different take on your average zombie book. Highly recommended!

The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor

This book has all the elements of a classic zombie book. The suspense of who will live in the group. How they travel across the land. Will they make the decision to go to the city, or avoid it? Great, descriptive zombie attack scenes. It is hard to put this book down, you want to read it from beginning to end. The writing is great, the characters are well developed. I look forward to a sequel!

This is a great book geared toward the teen crowd. It has a little bit of everything; zombies, teen romance, action, mystery. Exciting and well written with just the right amount of gore for this age. There is a male and female protagonist so this will appeal to guys and gals. No boring parts in this story!

What a great book!! Love this author's style of writing. Lots of rawness written in a classy, intelligent style. This book is full of action and suspense. Great detail help you picture the action play by play in your head. His writing of what it is like being the human, when the werewolf is closer and closer to getting out, is mesmerizing. Will look for books by this author again!
