This is a delightful book that hits home to those of us that are truly Sidetracked. I recommend this to all of my friends - not because they get sidetracked, but because it is an honest book that provides comic relief and the motivation to go forth and better yourself, your home, and your family.

Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life
by
Anne Lamott

I read this book while in college for a writing class. I have gone back and reread this book time and time again when I have needed the inspiration and motivation to keep writing, even when I just don't feel like it. I enjoy Anne Lamott's writing style a great deal. I recommend this book to anyone that asks for a book on writing.

Carrots Love Tomatoes Secrets of Companion Planting for Successful Gardening

I have used this book since I started gardening in 2004. I refer to it almost daily during the summer and it is one of the books that I go to as I plan out my garden each spring. I highly recommend this book to those that are interested in companion plant gardening and detailed information on plants, trees, and flowers. It is a must have in my library!
